Donation to the East Lyme Police Department.
Marc Antonio from Girard Toyota in New London presented Michael Finkelstein, the Chief of Police for the Town of East Lyme, with a donation for the purchase of exercise equipment for the East Lyme Police Department. The Antonino family of auto groups appreciates service to the community, and recognizes the challenges that law enforcement officers face. To help our First Responders provide the best possible service, the Antonino family sought to find a way to help improve Officer wellness. "There is a well-established correlation between the physical wellness of Police Officers, and their psychological and emotional well-being. When Officers are able to create that balance, the service they provide to its citizens only improves. The women and men of the East Lyme Police Department are extremely grateful to Girard Toyota and the Antonino Family for their extremely generous donation of $10,000 to purchase new equipment for the Public Safety building", said East Lyme Chief of Police Michael Finkelstein.
